Americans' Right to Counsel Initiative (ARC)
The Blue Capital Resources Americans' Right to Counsel (ARC) Initiative is a Scholarship Rewards Program for BCR Members Only, who are legal professionals. The ARC Initiative seeks to motivate its members to participate or contribute to underserved communities through pro bono legal work, legal education, community outreach, and free legal assistance initiatives.

Accepted verification may include:
Deadline: January 15th of the following year. All activity reports for the current calendar year (January 1 – December 31) must be submitted and reported no later than January 15th of the upcoming year.
• Activities submitted after the January 15th deadline will not be counted toward that year's scholarship consideration.
• Scholarship awards cover the previous entire calendar year only. Activities performed in prior years cannot be retroactively applied to a new cycle.
• Members are encouraged to log activities promptly throughout the year to avoid missing the deadline.
Announcement & Distribution: March 15th of the upcoming year. Scholarship awards will be announced and distribution will begin on March 15th of the year following the completed service cycle.
• Meeting point thresholds does NOT automatically guarantee scholarship funding.
• Scholarships are awarded based on available program funding, verified community impact, consistency of service, professionalism, quality of contribution, and overall applicant pool.
• Points reset each annual cycle (January 1 – December 31) to encourage continued participation.
• False submissions result in disqualification. BCR may audit submissions at any time.
• Duplicate claims are prohibited. Verification is required for large point awards.
